Laminate Radio is the partnership of Bristol Drum n Bass legend DJ Die (Reprazent, Full Cycle, Breakbeat Era) under his “Blue Fontaine” moniker along with co-conspirator Gus Pirelli. Together they have been both igniting and educating UK dancefloors to the classic sounds of post Disco Electro Funk, Boogie and Groove. Guest Mix – DJ Eastwood (UK)
DJ Eastwood touches down exclusively for Channel One giving us a lesson in how young London gets down in 2010. Originally a heralded Grime producer both on his own and with regular collaborator Oddz, Eastwood moved on from grime and started producing and playing Funky as it emerged as the current sound of Urban London. His productions range from sing along girl-centric funky to harder, darker more experimental riddims regularly featured in the sets of key tastemakers like Marcus Nasty, Seb Chew and Funk Butcher.
