TASC has been heating up parties for centuries, both locally and internationally. Known for being a versatile selectah capable of rockin all types of parties and crowds — from backyard hip-hop sessions to late-night afterhour bass rave-cans.

He helps run the popular blog Spaceballers, has competed in DMC DJ battles, Red Bull 3Style DJ competitions, and is now collaborating on some interesting productions for his new label ‘Space Ballers Music’.

No-one knows exactly what TASC is cookin in his kitchen for Channel One, but expect HUGE mixes from many genres!

LUSH describes his sound as Jungle Music at 128, 140 and 175 bpm. Sounds crazy? Maybe… but with Lush the single most dominant trend over his 18 years of DJing has been unbridled passion for the music that he plays.

Widely known and respected as a Jungle/DnB DJ, Lush has been a "student" of the art of DJing and a follower of the Hardcore Continuum from Hardcore thru to Jungle, into Drum & Bass; and forward into the current genre less mutations of House and Funky. For Lush there are no longer any clear cut genres, only tempos. He scans the whole underground spectrum drawing from house, techno, deep, tech, tribal, grime and funky to find the musical pieces to his puzzle, the underlying theme always being feeling and soul with a heavy Junglist leaning and room shattering bass!

Whatever style Lush chooses to play, he approaches it all with the same enthusiasm and razor sharp precision.

When XI plays, people listen. He does not discriminate. The point of his musical output, be it his own productions or his performances, is to encapsulate the very best in experimental bass and drive it home. All killer, no filler.

FREEZA CHIN started as a lovers rock/dancehall DJ in the late 90’s, so it’s no surprise that everything that he plays today is heavily ragga-influenced. Well versed in the disciplines of Reggae, Grime, Dubstep and House, Freeza Chin is as versatile a DJ as they come. Besides being a DJ, he is a well seasoned emcee who is no stranger to embarassing contenders on the mic.

Hailing from London UK, Plain English aka P aka the mouth of the South is known for his crisp delivery and catchy party lyrics. He is well known in Canada for hosting in the UK Garage, Dubstep, Grime & Funky House scene as well as being the host for Toronto Funky (Toronto’s only Funky event) and also U.K.C with partners Freeza Chin and MC Riddims. Many love his style as it’s authentically british with a cross between old school Garage and Grime. He is also one of the few U.K MC’s to grace the mic in Canada. Plain English is by far the most professional host in the city and we are proud to have him as a resident at Channel One.
